I took the time to study the legal page on the O’Reilly Auto Parts site to get information on the Super Start Battery warranty. In case you don’t know, O’Reilly Auto Parts is just the main authorized dealer of the Super Start battery in the United States and not the manufacturer.

How To Check If Super Start Battery Warranty Is Active?
Simply check the battery receipt you got when you bought the battery. The receipt has the purchase date. Calculate the purchase date to the present date to know if it’s within the warranty period.
In rare cases, customer support can help you trade the purchase date if you can remember details like the month you purchased the battery.
What Does Super Start Battery Warranty Cover?
According to the information on the manufacturer’s legal page, the warranty on all Super Start batteries covers defects in workmanship and materials. That is defects that can be traced back to the manufacturing process.
What Is Not Covered In Super Start Battery Warranty?
. Damage caused by abuse or neglect.
. Batteries that have been frozen or opened.
. Defects that occur outside the United States or Canada.
. Discharged batteries can be returned to the manufacturer for services or recharge.
. Batteries with electrolytes besides the one recommended by the manufacturer.
. Any cost incurred during the removal or installation of the battery.
. A defect caused by a faulty electrical system or component.
. Damage is caused by using the battery in an application for which it was not designed.
What Voids A Super Start Battery Warranty?
. Warranty claim filed by someone who is not the first purchaser of the product, and without the authorization of the first purchaser.
. Warranty claim on a battery that has reached its normal end of life.
. Filing a claim after the warranty period.
. Filing a warranty claim in another method other than the method stipulated by the Company.
. A warranty claim for a battery purchased from an unauthorized retailer.
How To File A Warranty Claim For Super Start Battery?
If you are close to where you purchased the battery, simply take the battery back to the store location. Remember to go with your purchase receipt.
If your location is more than 25 miles from where you purchased the battery, you have to contact a Warranty Admin at 1-866-830-4351. The admin will give you the nearest facility in your location to return your battery.
The service is available Monday to Friday, 8 a.m to 9 p.m, and on Saturday 9 a.m to 6 p.m.
If there is no facility in your location, you can take the battery to any facility and pay for the cost. Contact the admin via the number above and request an email to send the repair invoice. Ensure you send the invoice within 60 days from the date you received the invoice.
What Next After Filing A Warranty Claim For Super Start Battery?
If your claim is approved, the Company will send you a free replacement of the same model as your original battery. In a situation where the model is not available, you will receive a battery with similar quality and related models.
Also, if you paid for a replacement, you will receive a refund for the replacement cost. Note that, the Company won’t pay the difference if the amount you paid for the replacement is higher than the cost of the original battery.
