Axe Bat Warranty: Guide To File A Claim

Last Updated on October 19, 2023 by Bryan Harper

If it’s been less than one year since you bought your Axe bat and it has a dent, you can file a claim for damages. The claim, if successful, entitles you to a new bat of a similar quality as your current bat.

All Axe bats come with warranty coverage that allows you, the customer, to file a claim for any defect on the product. The manufacturer will assume responsibility for such defects.

Filing a claim for an Axe bat is easier than most people think. All you have to do is to fill out and submit the warranty form on the Company’s site. After that, package and return the bat to the Company.

This post will guide you on the steps to file a warranty claim for an Axe bat. Also, you will learn other aspects of the warranty such as the factors that can invalidate your claim.

How Does Axe Bat Warranty Work?

The warranty on the Axe bat is the manufacturer’s way of attesting to the quality of the product. In the event of a defect in the product, the manufacturer will assume full responsibility.

The warranty has a time limit, which is one year. In other words, you have one year from the date you purchased the product to file your claim.

Also, the warranty is limited to only products purchased either directly on the Company’s site or from an authorized retailer.

Finally, how you file your claim matters. Filing your claim via any other method besides the method approved by the Company will invalidate your claim.

How To File A Claim For Axe Bat?

Filing a claim for an Axe bat warranty is easier than ever. Simply file and submit the form on their site. Here is a breakdown of the process:

. Get the details you need to file your claim handy. That includes a product model number, (check the barrel of the bat), product serial number (check the bat handle), pictures of the bat showing the said defect, and product receipt.

. Open the warranty form on the Axe Bat site and fill out the form. Enter the details in the space with an asterisk *.

. Upload pictures of the product receipt and product showing the defect. All images should be in JPEG file format.

. In the space for ‘reason for return’, write down as much detail as you can about the damage to the product.

. Review the form and click on Submit to complete the process.

. You will receive an email with a shipping label and instructions on how to return the product to any Axe Bat care center near you.

What Happens After You File A Claim For Axe Bat?

Package and ship the bat to the address on the shipping label. After the Company receives the bat, it will examine the bat and check the details of your claim to see if you have a valid claim.

The Company will only approve your claim if it’s valid and meets the requirements. Once approved, the Company will opt to either repair the bat you returned or send you a new product as a replacement.

If the product is no longer available, you will receive a product similar or more in value to your current product.

On the other hand, if your claim is not approved, the Company will ship your current bat to you without repairs. You will have to bear the shipping cost for that.

What Does Axe Bat Warranty Cover?

The warranty attached to any Axe bat does not cover just the manufacturer’s defect; it covers other damages that may be due to normal use of the bat. That includes the following

. Structural cracking

. Broken knobs and caps

. Severe denting

What Is Not Covered In Axe Bat Warranty?

As mentioned, there is a limit to what the Axe Bat warranty covers. The warranty on any Axe Bat does not include the following:

. The defect caused by an accident.

. Damage caused by misuse or abuse of the product.

. The defect caused by unauthorized modification or alteration of the product.

. Damage caused by extreme use of the product.

. Defect caused by using the bat in a commercial batting cage.

Factors That Void Axe Bat Warranty?

Other factors can void the validity of your claim. The Company won’t approve any claim with the following in place:

. Claim for a bat with no date code or hologram.

. Filing a claim without attaching the supporting documents. That includes the invoice and the pictures of the product with the damages.

. Claim for a product you purchase from a retailer that is not an authorized retailer.

. Filing a claim via a method that is not approved by the Company.

. Claim filed by any person that is not the first buyer.

. Claim for products purchased outside the United States.

How Long Does Axe Bat Warranty Last?

Most Axe bats come with a one-year limited warranty. Some models come with a shorter warranty period. For instance, the Pro-Fit wood models come with a 30-day warranty while the Composite Wood models come with a 120-day warranty.
